Sweet and Spicy Salmon

One of my favorite things about salmon is that you don’t need much to make it great. This recipe is a fantastic example. The salmon is topped with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup and put under the broiler.

That’s it.

Sweet and Spicy Salmon

Ingredients:
Salmon fillet
Maple syrup
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper
Fresh pineapple

Directions:
Arrange the salmon fillet and pineapple on a foil-lined baking sheet. Seasoning the salmon fillet with salt and pepper. Drizzle maple syrup over the salmon and pineapple and sprinkle with cayenne pepper.

Broil about 7-9 minutes or until your salmon is cooked through.

Serve with basil rice.
