I would say that 99% of the internet knows about Smitten Kitchen. The site, created by Deb Perelman, reigns as the best food blog ever.
Really. There are food blogs. And then, there’s Smitten Kitchen.
When I heard that Deb was working on a cookbook, I was more than intrigued and wholly excited. Nothing can compare to cracking open a perfectly thought-out and executed cookbook.
Nothing.
And that’s exactly what The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook gives you. Amazing and refreshing recipes paired with stunning and step-by-step photographs. I would say that just about every page in the 322-page book features a picture.
I like that. I like that a lot.
Best of all, the recipes are new. When you get the cookbook, you’re not getting a bound copy of the blog. You’re getting new content and, of course, Deb’s anecdotes. All of the recipes ring true to what Smitten Kitchen is known for—excellence and variety.
It’s the best.
For this post, I decided to make one of the simpler recipes and opted for the Baked Potato Crisps with the Works. These little guys are completely delicious and a snap to put together. They would be perfect for entertaining or as a fun side dish.
Did I mention how easy there were? Because they are.
