Yogurt Cheese Part Three: The Sweet Side

Here it is—the long awaited conclusion of my yogurt cheese adventure. You’re totally excited, I can tell. Well, I was and still kind of am. Mostly because this recipe turned out so fantastically delicious.

Pairing cheese and fruit is one of our favorites and a definite standby in our home. I was excited to try something a little different and this particular combination came together perfectly. The added sweetness from the honey and cranberries, salty crunch of pistachios and tang of the yogurt cheese was wonderfully addictive.

Sweetened Yogurt Cheese with Pistachios and Cranberries

1 1/2 cups yogurt cheese

1/3 cup dried cranberries

1/3 cup salted pistachios

1 tablespoon honey

1 apple

Your favorite crackers

Combine the above ingredients (only gently stir it—running into veins of honey with your crackers is the best part). Serve with thinly sliced apples and crackers. You can reserve a few cranberries and pistachios to sprinkle on top—it’s completely up to you.

That’s it—done!

We proceeded to devour the dip. And you know what? I don’t even feel bad about it.
