Yesterday was Thanksgiving in Canada. Instead of roasting a turkey, we went with an easier route—Thanksgiving Turkey Burgers.
This was done for a couple of reasons. 1. Our oven is insufferably small. Really, there’s no way a turkey was ever going to fit in there. 2. Sandwiches are the best part of Thanksgiving. Really, that’s all Aaron and I ever want out of Thanksgiving–leftovers to turn into sandwiches. See you later, middle man.
Why didn’t I think of this sooner?!
It’s everything you love about thanksgiving without the hassle—stuffing, cranberries and turkey. Best of all, you can completely customize your burger. Next time, I may add sweet potatoes.
So, I give you Thanksgiving Turkey Burgers.
